We accept most insurances with the exception of BCMH (Bureau of Children with Medical Handicaps), Medicare, or Lutheran.
We accept checks, cash or credit cards. We also offer a flexible payment plan. Please see our Financial Coordinator for details. We are happy to file insurance for your reimbursement as long as you are free to choose your own pediatrician.
Facilities and Equipment
POL makes routine vaccinations comfortable and convenient for your child. Pain control is offered to the older child. We also are providers for VFC (Vaccines for Children) so you won’t have to visit the Health Department if you prefer. Our staff is experienced at speedy vaccinations (two arms or thighs at a time) to minimize the duration your child is in pain.
We offer automated audiology screening and testing, using the latest Otoacoustic Emissions Testing as well as tympanometry and Spriometry.
Minor surgical procedures like Incision and Drainage, suturing of minor lacerations and the use of Dermabond, a safe alternative to stitches, are done is our comfortable procedure room.
Frenotomy (release of the tongue tied newborn), helping to facilitate a breast fed infant, can be performed as an outpatient procedure without the need of general anesthesia and referral to a surgeon.
Being conveniently located in the St. Rita’s Professional Building also has its Laboratory and Radiological advantages. The hospital is accessible via an indoor walkway and Childlab (Nationwide Children’s Hospital’s Lab) and Lima Pathology are just an elevator ride away.
Both our offices (Suite’s 102 and 201) are handicap and stroller accessible. St. Rita’s recently remodeled cafeteria is only 100 feet away for that always hungry child. Being a pediatric office, our waiting room televisions are always showing child friendly programming.
